How Many Devices Can You Use on a VPN at Once? Plan Guide

Larofly lets you connect 5 devices on Standard or 10 on Premium at once. Learn how to count your gadgets, pick a plan, and what to do at the limit.

How many devices can you connect to a private internet access service at the same time? With Larofly, it's up to 5 on the Standard plan and up to 10 on Premium. The limit counts devices that are connected at the same moment, not how many you've installed the app on. You can install it on every gadget in the house, but in the evening, when everything is on at once, you may hit the ceiling. Below you'll find how to count your devices, which plan suits whom, and what to do if you run out of slots.

We don't list prices or billing periods here so they never fall out of sync with the real ones. The current price list is always in the Pricing section.

Which devices does the subscription work on?

The subscription opens in the free Karing app. These are the platforms we support:

We won't promise anything for other devices, such as smart TVs and set-top boxes. Ask support first, in the bot or in your account.

There is one subscription for everyone. You add the link from the bot or your account to Karing on each device, with no need to register again. If you haven't set anything up yet, there's a step-by-step guide in how to set up access to foreign services on iPhone and Android in 5 minutes. For a full walkthrough on every device, see our main guide, how to set up a secure connection on all your devices.

How do I count my devices in two minutes?

Grab a sheet of paper and walk around your home. Write down:

  • the phones of everyone who will use the subscription;
  • laptops and desktop computers running Windows or macOS;
  • tablets;
  • a buffer for guests, and for the month when you've bought a new phone but the old one is still in use.

One important point: in practice, fewer devices are online at the same time than are on your list. A work laptop is on during the day, while a phone is on all the time. But if you have two kids and two adults at home, by evening everyone is online.

Which plan is right for me?

One person. A phone, a laptop, and a tablet make 3–4 devices. Standard is more than enough.

A couple. Two phones, two laptops, and a tablet already make five. If they rarely all connect at once, you can get by on Standard and switch off what you're not using. If they often do, take Premium.

A family with kids. Everyone has a phone, the adults have laptops, and there's a tablet at home. That's 7–10 devices. For a family, Premium is the most worry-free option: one subscription, one link, and no need to work out who took the last slot.

Travel. If you leave with a work laptop and a phone while your family stays home, the limit is shared among everyone. We covered setting up work tools on the road in access to work services from your phone while traveling.

How do I choose a billing period?

The longer the period, the lower the monthly price. For exact figures, check the Pricing section. But test the service first: the trial lasts 7 days, requires no card, and has unlimited traffic. In a week you'll know whether the speed holds up on your internet connection and whether you have enough device slots. It's worth measuring your speed before and after connecting. Here's how: how to check your connection speed and stability.

A sensible order looks like this:

  • A week of trial on the plan that seems right.
  • A first payment for a short period, if you still have doubts.
  • A switch to a longer period once you're sure everything works.

There are no auto-renewals: no card is linked, and you confirm each renewal yourself. You can pay by QR code (SBP) or with cryptocurrency, including USDT, in the bot or in your account.

What mistakes do people make when choosing a plan?

Counting only their own devices. People forget the second phone and the guest tablet. Make a list, as above.

Taking Premium for ten devices and using four. You pay for headroom you don't need. If you're on your own, Standard is enough.

Forgetting about old devices. You bought a new phone, but the old one is still set up. If you suddenly can't connect in the evening, check what else is running at home.

Judging by price instead of speed. The cheapest period is worth nothing if video stutters in the evening. Find the cause first: why video lags in the evening.

FAQ

How many devices can I connect at the same time?

Up to 5 on Standard and up to 10 on Premium. The count covers devices using the subscription at the same moment. You can install Karing on as many devices as you like.

What should I do if I've hit the device limit?

First, find out what else is running: an old phone, a tablet, a laptop on another desk. Turn off Karing on the devices you aren't using right now, then connect again. If the limit isn't enough on a regular basis, you need Premium. Plan changes and payment questions are handled by a human specialist, so message support in the bot or in your account. If you can't tell which device is hogging a slot, support can check the logs.

Do I need to register on every device?

No. One subscription link works for all your devices. Add it to Karing and you're done.

How do I connect the subscription on several devices?

Get the link in the @Larofly_bot bot (the "Пробный рейс" button, i.e. "Trial flight") or in your account via email. Then install Karing on each device and add the link to the app.

Can I try it for free?

Yes: 7 days, no card, and unlimited traffic. There are no auto-renewals.
